Natural art with an attitude. Märta Larsson, raised in Swedish Lapland she evolved from a ballerina of the Academy of Ballet in Stockholm to a rock’n’roll band lead singer in London, and now an international jeweller of hand-crafted one-of-a-kind pieces. The inspiration for her jewellery springs from forcing the pristine, yet wild and rugged nature of her childhood’s Lapland into the more decadent world of the surreal, creative and unbounded characters she met in London. She loves the unexpected edginess of a shiny but raw stone hard-bound by metal. The Bondage Pendant harnesses the untamed nature, the heart of a loved one. At the same time Märta wants to evoke the unspoilt wilderness; life unspoilt by life.

The jewellery collection features pyrite, black tourmaline, quartz, amethyst and lapis. Märta handpicks every stone for her jewellery creations. The materials she uses yield truly individualized works of art, each having its own unique colour and shape. The designs respect nature’s unending variation and make each piece a unique creation. She sees the stones as nature’s own works of art, with its endless variations and ‘imperfections’ bringing more character, more beauty, than mere ‘perfection’.

We have created a collection of trans-seasonal, everyday luxury pieces that can be worn from morning to night and can easily change mood with some of our beautiful accessories. With an emphasis on timeless, sustainable design, these go-to wardrobe staples are exquisitely handmade using only the finest quality silk, with careful attention to detail. The prints are inspired by unique stones in Märta Larsson’s jewellery collection: blush quartz; yellow fluorite; purple fluorite; pink Galina; as well as solid colours, such as black and fuchsia.

Märta was raised in the wild, rugged Swedish Lapland, which is why our campaign was shot in her home town of Lycksele – a place that has had a lasting impression on her designs.
